Our Covid Care Plan

Our focus is on making your stay with us as safe and enjoyable as possible.

We want you to be able to relax on your holiday so we want you to tell you what we're doing to help protect you and your fellow guests during your stay.

We do all of the cleaning and checks ourselves, rather than outsourcing them, so you can be assured of a very personal level of care and attention.

We also offer contactless key collection as each cottage has a key box near the door which will have been disinfected before you arrive.

If you have any questions on these or any of the other safety measures listed below, then please just get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Here are just a few of the things we're doing to keep you safe...

Extra Cleaning

We're undertaking extra Covid cleaning procedures on top of our already extensive cleaning routine. To help give us time to do this, please arrive no earlier than 4pm on your arrival day and please vacate your cottage by 10am on your departure day. Thank you.

Safe products

As a rural property we have a septic tank which can be badly affected by bleach in the sink or toilets. We use eco-friendly products and antiseptic wipes for disinfecting surfaces without upsetting the water treatment system, so please do the same.

Less is more

To minimise the risk of touch contamination, we have been advised to remove unnecessary items from our cottages, so we are keeping things such as ornaments, board games and books to a minimum. Thank you for your understanding,

Dishwasher safe

When you arrive you may find your crockery and cutlery in the dishwasher. This is because anything that has been touched by a previous guest will undergo a hot wash before you arrive and, when you get it out, it means you are the only ones to touch the clean items.

...and a few things you can do
to help as well.

Bed Linen

At the end of your stay please help us by stripping the beds and placing sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers in the shower tray or bath, along with any towels that you have used too.  This will help us minimise our contact with your bed linen when we bag it up ready for laundry. All linen is now cleaned at 60 degrees.

Sing Often!

We will make sure that when you arrive there is hand wash available in the cottage for you - all you need to do is use it and sing Happy Birthday

twice over!

Follow advice

We are all in this together so please do what you can to help by ensuring you always follow the government guidelines that apply to you, and your home location.
